But let me give a short review about the past season. After we reached the round of the last sixteen in the STC, we decided to write a WildCard for ESL to skip the 4th division. It was a long week until we knew that our WildCard got accepted. Our opponents in the season have been the following teams: Speed Breakers SAW.Tech dac-SP² Virtual Xtreme Artillery Mouse Control Dieux du Pieu Very Short Players On the first view, some nice teams with a great potential. And already in the first match, we found out, that the 3rd Division is just not the 5th Division. Every little fail is killing now and the opponents are much more consistent. At least, we could save a draw against Speed Breakers. The good point of this match was, that we were acclimatized now. But we knew that harder matches were waiting for us. The next match against SAW didn' t give us any problems. We won with a safe 5:1 and only lost the 2on2. But we have to add, that the Lost Son came back to support us, after he didn' t feel settled at dac-SP, David "Lund" Lundström. In the 3rd match, Lund met his old clanmates from dac-SP. After we won the 1on1 and the 2on2, dac-SP could tie the score in the 3on3. In a neve-racking 5on5, we could win with a close 7:5 and accordingly the match with 4:2. From this match on, we were at the top of the division together with Virtual Xtreme Artillery. And right against this team, we had the next match. On new tracks. Nobody could be sure about the result. And after the match, we can say – without holding back – that this was the most epic battle we have ever seen. I will just mention the results of the submatches, because this is too unbelievable to describe it: 7:6, 5:4, 6:7 and 7:6. In each submatch, we had a tie before the deciding round. In the 5on5, vXa was already leading with 5:2 and 6:4, but we could do a brilliant comeback and won by 1 point in the final round. The result: 4:2 – just unbelievable, incroyable, unglaublich. Screenshot of the final round:  We were now two points in front, and our next opponent was Mouse Control, currently only at position 6 in the division. But what we have already known from soccer cups, can also happen in TMNF. Mouse Control put up a great fight and due to the fact Bregt was not there, they reached a draw against us whereas Dieux du Pieu won against Very Short Players. So the first two teams had again the same points. And again, the Top2-Teams met in a final showdown. Meanwhile, also dac-SP and Virtual Xtreme Artillery had the direct fight behind. So everything could happen in our match. If we had lost it or made a draw, we would have been fallen down to the 3rd place in the case that dac-SP vs vXa didn' t end with a draw. Although it seemed that this was the hardest match of the season for us, the win was kinda clearly. After we won the 1on1, 2on2 and the 3on3, we had already won the match. Due tu a lack of motivation and some risky runs in the 5on5, Dieux du Pieu could gain two honor points. But in front of the last match, we were now 2 points in front of dac-SP on the 2nd place. It seemed that we had already won the division, but there was still Very Short Players as an opponent on the last playday. And because there were new maps again, nobody knew how we could cope with the maps. And indeed, we had some problems, lost the 3on3 and won the 2on2 only by 2 points. Anyway, we could win this match with 4:2 after a consistent performance in the 5on5. WOW, what a season, just WOW. With a great ending for myRevenge e.V. TMNF.
