This week’s installment of myRevenge e.V.’s smite cup was won by Juice Gaming who won the monthly finals for the cup last week, they came out on top after a tournament featuring 16 international teams from the US and different parts of Europe.

In Juice’s first game they played the Danish team ScoopNoobs, and they scored two early kills on the right lane after a quick towerdive on Arachne. They also socred another kill on the left lane as well as one more on Arachne on the right, when Juice Gaming got greedy and dove Zeus however they gave him a kill, leaving the score 4-1 after less than four minutes. The next two kills of the game came as Sun Wukong roamed acrros the map and ganked both the left lane and the middle lane. When three more kills were picked up in quick succession on both sides of the map Juice pulled very far ahead of ScoopNoobs as they got some free push on the towers on the left and the right lanes.

In Juice’s second game they played The Art of Warfare and they continued playing with some really heavy early aggression getting five kills after only three and a half minute, this set them very far ahead in experience and gold which let them gank with Thor’s ultimate to set the score to 6-0. The kills were taken on different lanes and spread out very well for the team, after this great start TAW never really had any chance of coming back as Juice really could capitalize on the advantages their early kills provided them. They just kept killing of the members of TAW in a ruthless fashion, after only eight minutes their gold lead was already at nine thousand gold and Thor really excelled snowballing really quickly and picking off kill after kill.

In Juice’s third game they faced Kill Secured and in this game they did not get the first blood and the rocket-fast start as in the previous two games; however they did get an early double kill on the bot lane for Sun Wukong and Hades. The first teamfight of the game only resulted in Juice’s Vamana dying and losing his stacks on the Heartseeker. The two following teamfights resulted in only four kills in total, with Kill Secured preventing Juice from having a successful towerdive thanks to Xbalanque’s ultimate. The next teamfight went decidedly better for Juice, they fought KS for the Gold Fury, and killed four of their players while only losing two themselves, this led to Juice getting a free Gold Fury. The next teamfight resulted in a deicide for Juice, without losing a single god, after this KS surrendered.

In the Grand Finals of the cup Juice faced ProCore Gaming in a best-of-three and the first match Juice Gaming’s aggressive paid off once again as they picked up the first blood. After eleven minutes the score was 2-4 in favor of Juice but this was about to change as they bumped into Bacchus and Sun Wukong and also picking off Ra as he came to assist his teammates. This advantage was enough for Juice to push on and win another teamfight a couple of minutes afterwards, especially as they cleared Sun Wukong’s Heartseeker stacks. When ProCore got distracted on the left lane it meant an opportunity for Juice to get a free Fire Giant. Juice then played rather carefully, not taking any unnecessary risks that might put their win in jeopardy. After the Fire Giant had spawned again and they killed they pushed and won the first game in this best-of-three series.

In the second game Juice picked up two separate kills pretty early in the left lane for Sobek and Artemis, they then continued to play aggressively in both the right and the left lane picking up several kills onto Sun Wukong and Odin, after 10 minutes the stats were 10-0 for Juice and with one tower kill this mean that they were way ahead in gold. After 13 minutes the teams engaged in a teamfight at the Gold Fury and it resulted in two kills for Juice as well as the Gold Fury kill, however a lot of them got really close to dying. A teamfight at the Fire Giant then gave ProCore gaming four kills while they themselves only lost two people, they cleared both Anhur’s and Artemis’s Heartseeker stacks. Right after this they steal the Gold Fury from Juice and almost kill Ymir and Sobek. They then go for the Fire Giant and kill it but as they did not communicate well enough three of them got picked off by Juice. As ProCore tried to get a kill on the Gold Fury Juice stole it and the teams traded two kills. ProCore made a mistake as they tried to kill the Gold Fury, this left Juice alone with the Fire Giant and they got a free kill on him, after this they killed of ProCore as they tried to interrupt them and they then pushed and won.
