 myRevenge finished 2nd on the National Qualifier for ESL Major Series VIII CS:Source.We started the cup with 2 easy matches against inFUZE and Tessa. The Winner Bracket Semi-Final against iPLAY was not that easy, losing the match with 1-2 maps score.We were dropped on the loser bracket and here we defeated IGG and Side Effect to qualify for the Loser Bracket Final where we meet team iPLAY again. This time the match was in our favor, and after a tied 30 round score, we defeated them in OverTime 19-15.The Grand Final Match was against the usual Romanian Titans, Team MyrmidonI. The were undefeated in this cup and started with 1 map advantage. We needed to win 2 maps to qualify for EMS VIII CS:S and we tried the impossible.The first map was our choice, de_season. Was a very close battle, with both teams dominating the Terro Side 11-4. After a tied 30 rounds, we had to play 3 over times to decide the winner of this map. It was us with the score 25-22. This was the first official map won against team MyrmidonI The second map was their choice, de_nuke, a map we don't like at all. We tried our best but MyrmidonI proved to be better on this map and defeated us 16-5 and won the Qualifier. |
